Crocheted Atari!

I always wanted a Nintendo when I was growing up.

I guess these Mario mushrooms can be a suitable replacement. Now if I only knew how to crochet!

Wow, this website has an awesome post on felted fruit. I think the actual pattern is only in the magazine though. So here is a picture of the fruit:

I can't find my copy of that issue, but I think those fruits were not knitted but felted from roving and shaped free-form...I think. I *love* the knitted fruits from WildCrafts.net - they are similar to some I bought for my niece but always wished I'd made myself.

Hey Rita, I saw these felted mushrooms on the Smarts & Crafts blog & thought of you. They really are adorable, and although I have no idea what I'd do with a felted mushroom, looking at these makes me really want to whip up a whole colony of them!

I think fake fruit is generally tacky...but these are amazing. When you find out the recipe...please make me a bowl of fruit and I will repay you as you deem necessary. Keep up the blogging...love the site.
